TICKETS

Tickets are day specific and only valid for one session. Each session is the same. An entrance ticket brings you to the Grand Tasting Hall where you can purchase Festival sampling coupons, enabling you to customize what you try and how much you spend.

SAMPLING COUPONS

Sampling coupons are available for $0.50 and can be purchased at the Grand Tasting Hall. Samples range from 1 to 20 or more coupons, depending on the item.

SPRING SKIING IN THE ROCKIES

If attendees want to add a little fresh air and exercise to their weekend away, we recommend they partake in spring skiing and boarding at the Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Resort. Visit www.skibanff.com for more information.

Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival

May 4-5, 2012

The 2012 Banff Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival was a delicious success. On May 4th & 5th, 2012 wine and food lovers were invited to escape to Banff for the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival at The Fairmont Banff Springs. Guests enjoyed a blissful weekend indulging in delectable cuisine from Banff's most popular restaurants, as well as a wide selection of local and international wines, premium spirits, single malt and blended scotches, specialty liqueurs, and import and micro-brewed beer. The Grand Tasting Hall offered the unique opportunity to explore new products and menus, interact with experts, and savour tried and true favourites. Also available were special hotel packages and wine and food themed events held at Banff hotels and restaurants throughout the weekend.

Select Banff restaurants and hotels hosted a variety of special wine and food themed dinners and other gourmet events throughout the weekend. Indulgent weekends were completed by wine and food pairing dinners, themed parties and other delicious celebrations.

The Grand Sample Search

Attendees have the opportunity to vote on the most delicious food samples at the Festival through a post-event survey. While indulging in the wide selection of gourmet bites, guests were encouraged to make note of their favourite restaurant's sample for a chance to win great prizes. Prizes

There are many delicious prizes to be won! Tickets purchased before the Early Bird deadline of April 3, 2012 had the chance to win $100 in Sampling Coupons at the Banff Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival OR 2 Sunshine Ski Passes OR 2 Friday tickets and $50 in Sampling Coupons to the 2012 Calgary or Edmonton Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival! Those who filled out their door prize ballot in the Grand Tasting Hall at the Festival are in the running for the Grand Prize, an All-Inclusive Weekend Getaway at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, or tickets and coupons to our other events! OTHER SERVICES

Transportation

The Banff ROAM public transport provided an additional Charter Express bus over the Festival weekend.

• The express bus arrived and departed approximately every 20 minutes.
• Fare: $2.00. Exact change only.
• In addition to the Charter Express bus, ROAM provided the regularly scheduled service to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

Babysitting

Babysitting service was available at the Fairmont Banff Springs. Advance reservations were required.
